My profile, Class 10- 8.8, Class 12-89%, I am a commerce student but I want to pursue as an English Major. Will it affect my VISA chances?

I've taken one year Gap to enhance and improve my English skills, and I also write poetry, I'm passionate about it. I scored 7.5 Overall on my IELTS. In the gap year, I've taken English Impact, and English Creative Writing Course. I'll also be taking classes for French, to cover my gap year.
