UPSC examination is conducted every year and on the basis of this examination a number of IAS, IPS, IFS officers are recruited.
UPSC conducts civil services examination every year in the month of May and June and its main exam is in the month of December. The notification for this exam comes out in the month of January end.
2)
To be eligible :
- You need to pass graduation in any field from any recognized university.
- You are eligible if you are in the final year of graduation.
- Your age must be between 21 to 30 years. 3 and 5 years of relaxation for OBC and SC/ST respectively.

The Civil Services Examinations are held in two phases:
The first is called the CSAT which replaces the Preliminary Examination (Prelims). This has 2 papers - the general studies and general aptitude paper.
