My quedtion about Visa ?

Hi Today I approched one consultancy about know the process of do my masters in US. But she told one thing bcz of that my mood off. I complted BSC comp in 2006 bcz of some resons i could not continue further. She told that may be in Visa they ill reject you bcz of long gap in education is it correct
