My rank 1500 in SRM & 4500 in VIT. I got 153 marks in JEE Mains & expecting 95% in 12 CBSE. Should I wait for my JEE ranking?

Or is it better to join any of these two institutes?

Yes, you should wait for the result. By the way, you got decent rank in VIT. You will get CSE with this rank in VIT University.

If you're a general category student, there are less chances of getting NIT. If you belong to reserved category, you will get NIT, and may even get an IIIT.
