My rank in JEE Mains is 9048. Can I consider opting for mechanical engineering in NITW over NITK?

Both are similar in comparison. Both these colleges fall under top NIT category. So we can't say like which one is better. Yeah from campus life and location point of view, NITK is better than any top NITs.

Yes, you can consider NITW for mechanical. Teaching and learning wise, it is better than NITK. Congrats!
