My rank in VITEEE is 55000. Can I get admission in B.Tech biotechnology at VIT, Vellore?

Yes, you'll get admission in VIT Vellore but maybe in the 2nd or 3rd category. Let me explain you the admission system here. Rank in VIT to get admission should be 90,000 so you can get admission in VIT from the 6th category as well. There are various categories as well with each category admission fees go high. First category closed till 15,000 rank and you can get CSE till 9000 rank and IT till 11000 rank but there are 2nd category as well if you want CSE but you have to pay more for that. Hello Vinod, to be honest, it is really difficult to get a seat at the Vellore campus with this rank. So you can try for any other colleges. You may get admission if you pay more that is via management quota admissions.
