My rank is 15685 in JEE Main. Can I get a seat in NIT? I would like to go for Biotech. What is the scope of Biotech in India?
-
Yes, you can get a seat and even branches like ECE, IT mechanical and others. If you want to go for biotechnology, then you will surely get it. Biotechnology is good but try to do it from a reputed college. Try for the NITs where biotechnology is good. You will get a good NIT. But think twice before joining biotechnology.
Good luck. -

Hope this helps.
Best of luck. -
You will get biotechnology in NIT-Warangal. Coming to the scope, if you are interested in research then you can opt for biotechnology. But if you are hoping to get a job in biotechnology field then better not to take it.

Every year the cutoff and rank criteria changes as per the no. Of participants, difficulty level of questions and so many other factors which college does not reveal. Still as per the previous years cutoff criteria, we can assume what can be this year's cutoff criteria. Because it's generally near to it.
