My rank is 70 while first round of seat allotment released. Do I have a chance of getting a seat in HPU till last round of counselling?

Yes, definitely, you can get admission at HPU with 70 rank till the last-round of counselling. It is a decent rank if you aiming for HPU for the PG courses like MD, MS, MDS etc. As per the HPU cutoff 2024, the last round for MMU Solan - Maharishi Markandeshwar University for MD in Community Medicine

The HP NEET PG counselling was conducted in four rounds in the academic year 2025-26. Candidates will be allowed to participate in all the rounds in case they did not opt for the seat till the last round of counselling. 

The HP NEET PG round 2 registration process is over now. It was started on December 3, 2025, after the display of the Vacancy Position/seat matrix for round 2. Candidates were allowed to participate in the choice filling. 

HP NEET PG counselling process will allow candidates to apply for 187 seats, 14 NRI quota seats, and 15 post MBBS DNB seats.
