    It is too difficult to get anything with this rank in NIT, assuming you are general category candidate and this is a general rank. Moreover, PES and UPES are very good speaking give preference to PES first as it is cheaper and better. Also, for UPES, go only for petroleum because it has very high package though. You can also try for VIT, Manipal though the fee is relatively higher in that. For government colleges, take Mains, Advanced, DTU, MHTCET, COMEDK, or JNU.;

    With 74000 rank, you will not get any good NIT.
    If you are getting a good rank in UPES, then you can go for UPES.
    The best stream in UPES is petroleum branch.
    But if you want CS then you should choose CS in cloud computing or CS in open source and standards.

    I think you should go for UPES, although fee structure of upes is very high. You cannot get any NIT with these marks. One most important point is that upes is not good for CSE.

    You can opt for UPES which is one of the best colleges for CS. You can also go for JoSAA counselling to check other good colleges as well.

    If you are having good money, then you can take PES and UPES. Both are good institutes. Or, you can apply for newly IIITs through JOSSA.
