my relative studied in abroad for medicine. how can find that whether university is approved by UGC. it is MCI recognized.she wntto wrte IAS
She want to write IAS. is she eligible for it ? she is an Indian citizen.is a foreign degree is allowed for entry? pls reply earlier so that she can start training

Hi, if the qualification is approved by MCI, you need not to worry. Any education abroad is not governed by UGC however you need to produce equivalence certificate from Association of Indian Universities as and when required.

The UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) of India conducts the exam and on the basis of the result IAS, IPS, IFS officers are selected.
It has three-step process i.e.
Preliminary Exam (Prelims)
Main Exam (Mains), and
Interview.
