My score in CAT 2018 is 70.36 %. Can I expect a call from IMT, Hyderabad? Am I eligible to apply for the same?

    Hello,
    Based on the last year criteria their cut-off was 70%. Kindly check the official website (https://www.imthyderabad.edu.in) to know about the latest cut-off.

    Hey,
    Sorry but this year the cutoffs are high. If you have given CMAT with a score above 90% you can apply with that. Rest you can work hard this year and give your best in the coming CAT exam.

    Last year, IMT-Hyderabad did gave call to students at this percentile. So, if you have filled the form you can still have hope.

    Expected cut offs are decided by the Admissions committee. Last year it was 70 percentile in CAT/XAT and 85 percentile in CMAT. Best wishes.

    The CAT/XAT cut-off for IMT-Hyderabad this year is 75 percentile whereas CMAT stands at 90 percentile.

For candidates pursuing MBA, the eligibility criteria includes merit and entrance based selection. Whereas, for BBA, candidates must qualify Class 12 with a minimum aggregate. JIIT CDOE MBA on the other hand, is offered based on the minimum aggregate of graduation.  However, for the final admission, candidates must meet the cutoff rank or score and must secure valid scores in accepted entrance exams such as CAT.

CAT is one of the accepting exams required for admission to PGDM programme. However, it is not compulsory. Aspirants with a valid score in any other accepted entrance exams such as MAT, XAT or CMAT can also get admission in PGDM. Selected aspirants also have to pass the case-based group discussion and a personal interview round for final admission.
