My scores in 10: 84%, 12: 67.8%, Graduation: DGPA 8.3. I have 8 months of work experience. Are there any chances as I have a gap of 5 years?

This is a special case of people having a huge gap after. So you can apply and see what decision the authorities take.

Hi Jagannath,
what is your cmat/cat/xat score? That will initially decide your cutoff. Generally the cutoff is in the range of 80-85 percentile. Your grades are good, but be ready with a good justification that why you had a 5 yr gap.
All the best for psychometric test and GD/PI. -
Gap will not matter if you managed to get a good percentile in CAT or CMAT
-
There is no specific cut off as. Mentioned by the college ,you would have to give entrance exams like CAT CET ATMA or CMAT and shortlist will be on that basis.
If you can justify why and what you have done in the break then there shouldn't be any issue
