My sister wants to become an IAS officer but a female needs a height of 5 feet to become eligible and she is 4.6 feet. What should she do?

It's her dream and she got upset as soon as she saw this rule.

  • Hi Laasya,
For the post of IAS officers, there is no height and weight requirements. Only for IPS/IFS, there are certain physical requirements.
To become an IAS, one should have a Bachelor's degree from a recognized university and yes a good performance in the UPSC exam.
So, she is eligible for the post of IAS officer.
    All the best.
