In general, the majority of engineering schools expect students to have taken math in their 12th grade for B.Tech programs, such as computer science. Nevertheless, certain institutions may have different admission requirements or provide preparatory courses. It's important to review the particular criteria of the schools your son is considering, as there could be potential choices.

I am not sure. Please check at the counselling. I think maths is compulsory in 12th for this course.

Sorry to say but PCM is mandatory for all B.Tech courses. So he won't be able to apply for CS.

    Hi Dharani,
I am very sorry to say that your son studied PCB with CS, but maths is a mandatory subject for any B.Tech course, especially CSE. It is also taught for four semesters in any B.Tech course you choose. He can still choose B.Tech in biotechnology, genetics, etc. Hence, with Biology as a main subject, your son isn't eligible for B.Tech CS.
Wishing him all the best for future endeavors.
