My Son Doing Final Year BE in Mechanical interested in NDA for further Study can he Do it or Please suggest How to go about.

4 years agoHello Abhishek Shetty, I am afraid, your son can not now join NDA. It's after 12th and there is upper age limit that your son would have crossed by now. But he can appear for CDS or AFCAT. Best wishes to you. -
Mam after he had finished BE WITH 80% or if he had scored 85% above in class 10 & 12 then he can opt for CDS. He will get a direct call from SSB (interview). And still if he want acquire a better post than CDS. Then he can go for UPSC CAPF ASSISTANT COMMANDAT or INDIAN DEFENCE ACCOUNTS SERVICE. Hope this helps you. There are also many ways like Inspector in CRPF by SSC CGL or through other state exams. Hope this helps you.

NDA salary from Lt. Col level 12A is between INR 1,21,200 to 2,12,400. The same for Col. level 13 is INR 1,39,600-2,17,600. It is INR 1,44,200-2,18,200 for Maj General Level 14.
NDA salary for Lt. Level 10 is INR 56, 100 to 1,77,500. The salary for Capt. level 10 B is INR 61,300-1,93,900. NDA Salary for Major Level 11 is INR 69,400-2,07,200.
NDA admit card is released one week before the exam day. NDA 1 hall ticket is expected in April. The call letter for NDA 2 will be released in September. Candidates can download their admit cards online only.
