My son got detained result of b.tech 4th sem. in all his theory papers.It was error from his college.Please suggest me what shall I do now?

The Dir. of college sent a detained list of some students including my son for short attendence which was not.While examination controller issued admit card and my son gave all papers.On 30th june Dir got retired.On consulting college they say it was by human error.They informed UPTU on phone.
