my son has got 55percent total with 50 percent in PCM in 12 this year. is he elegible for marine eng.

no. He should have got 60% in PCM for applying in B.Tech Marine Engineering. The other option is, he can now take admission in Mechanical Engineering & then apply for Graduate in Marine Engineering (1 YEAR), but he should have 50% marks in aggregate in Mechanical Engg.
