My son has got 89 marks, 76259 general rank in JEE Mains, 86.6% in 12th (433/500). What course can he opt: B.Sc in pcm or BE?

He has got 130 marks in UCEED'18, 2167 rank 70 marks in CLAT'18. He is interested in film direction. As film institute need a min. grad for study, what can he take for UG? Is it advisable to go for JEE Mains, UCED next year to get a prestigious institute before entering his field of interest?
