My son has scored 197 marks in JEE paper 2. I belong to SC category & my category rank is 1116. Will he get admission in NIT-Trichy?

He can get admission in NIT Trichy but in the last round of the counselling or you can say in the special round of the counselling and because it is now one of the best NIT in India. So, everyone wanted to be there.

NIT TRICHY is now the best NIT in India. He got good marks. SC category will help him for sure. he is definitely have a chance to get NIT TRICHY. The rat race is so much high for that. So, maybe, the last round of counselling will see him get the desired college. All the best.

He has got good marks but the competition for NIT, Trichy is very high. Still there are some chances of getting it. Try in the counseling. Also, add some other NITs along with this NIT.

You may try for JoSAA counselling but it's quite difficult as the seats close within a decent rank in ST category.
