My son is born in MP in 1998 but studying in AP since 2003. I am central govt Min of Defence employee. Is my son local in MP for engg colleg
Being a group A central government officer my job is transferable anywhere in India. My son has studied from class I in Kendriya Vidyalaya in AP only . Now he is in 11th and will be attempting engineering entrances next year. If I am transferred to MP next year, will he be considered local there?

Domicile of Indian citizen is based on their ancestors. Every state has some domicile rules for govt employee it are lil bit vary from others. go through the state policy for domicile.
