My son is doing Diploma in Tool Design Engineering & Digital Manufacturing at NTTF. Can he get admission for CS in BE?

He is presently 10th pass and pursuing Diploma. He is planning to change the stream and take up Computer Science.

    Yes, a student who completes the Diploma in Tool Design Engineering & Digital Manufacturing at the Nettur Technical Training Foundation (NTTF) can apply for admission to a Computer Science (CS) in BE programme at NTTF: 

    Eligibility

    To be eligible for admission to a CS in BE programme at NTTF, a student must: 

    Pass class 10th with mathematics as a mandatory subject 

    Pass the NTTF entrance exam 

    Be under 24 years of age 

    Admission process

    Admission to NTTF is based on: 

    Performance in the NTTF entrance exam 

    Performance in mathematics and Science in the qualifying examination (class 10, class 12, ITI, or +2)

Since your son is enrolled in a Diploma program, he may not meet the standard eligibility criteria for direct admission to the first year of BE.

    Lateral Entry: Some universities offer lateral entry into the second year of BE for Diploma holders in relevant engineering disciplines. However, a Diploma in Tool Design Engineering & Digital Manufacturing may not align directly with the Computer Science stream.
