My son passed Diploma in Civil Engineering with 60% marks from Punjab and now he want to admit B Tech in Computer Science and Engineering.

Yeah he can do btech in computer science engineering but if he will do civil engineering then it is easy for him to do civil engineering as some subjects have studied in his diploma related to civil engineering but he can do computer engineering .All the best! -
After having Diploma in CSE then it will be better B.Tech in CSE. This will give him a career in continuation with specific skills. Changing stream is not a good idea after completing Diploma with 60% marks.
