A rank of 3525 in the IMUCET may not be enough to get into a government college:

Indian Maritime University, Navi Mumbai: The overall cutoff for 2022 was 5063–6715

Indian Maritime University, Chennai: The overall cutoff for 2022 was 5–1349

IMU Visakhapatnam: The overall cutoff for 2024–2025 was 2–1804

Some say that a rank within 25,000 is considered good. Others say that a rank of 4000 is good and will get you your choice of branch at any IMU campus.

To pass the IMUCET exam, candidates must:

Score a minimum of 60% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics in 10+2 or equivalent exams

    Score
