My son studying Diploma in automobile engineering. Can he apply for B.Tech marine engineering for later entry?

Yes. He can apply for lateral entry. My college used to offer lateral entry when was affiliated with BITS, Pilani after coming under control of IMU I don't know. You may call TOLANI MARITIME INSTITUTE and ask them directly.
