He must go with: 1. BITSAT. 2. VIT. 3. COMEDK. 4. WBJEE. 5. ISAT. Among these he must apply for BITSAT, as it is the only private college which compete even the top IIT's.

Probably, he would have dropped for a year for preparation, thereafter, on basis on JEE Mains, hopefully he would get good marks in it, so the top colleges on basis of JEE, he should be preferring NIT-Suratkal, NIT-Trichy, NIT-Warangal, DTU and NSIT. He may opt for WBJEE and then on the basis of JEE mains marks obtained Uttarakhand and Haryana also schedule their counselling separately through JEE mains mark for state government colleges. He should apply for these thereafter.
