My VIT rank is 18500. Can I get computer science or electronic in Vellore campus and please tell how branches are upgraded?

With that rank you will get electronics & instrumentation engineering in Vellore campus. Computer science specialization closing rank is 9000 and CSE core in 6000 rank. You have to take two courses of that desired branch in which you have to go and they will select first 2 or 3 out of many students for upgradation of their desired branches. Hope this helps.
