For lectureship in chemistry, M.sc is the minimum qualification. So, your wife is on the right way.
She can start preparing for CSIR NET Exam, SLET as well. These exams are the eligibility test for becoming lecturer.
Majorly her preparation for CSIR NET will cover all state level lecturer exams. The
