With changing market trends in India, management institutes should also change their curriculum with time and try to create leaders and Managers who perform at world-class levels, but till date only a handful of premier Indian institutes like IIM's have been able to do this. With the rapid Globalisation, a couple of new entrant in the education sector in premier B-School league promise to deliver world class education, one such Institute is MYRA school of Business, its batches start this year!

MYRA lies in different league these B-Schools which were shut down were mostly in small town which lacked quality education. Myra is playing at the level of ISB and IIM, Instiitiute has a lot of spectacular things which were never before introduced as far as B-Schools in India are concerned. Some of those things are: 1) International Faculty. 2) International Student Exchange Programme. 3) Minimal Fee Structure 4) International placements.

Jagat, I agree to all the above mentioned things, many BSchools close down because they can not deliver a quality education and follow the same old curricular instead changing the currculum with changing market scenario. I read about MYRA a few days back and was highly motivated to see the kinda things they are doing. Though there was one thing that bothered me that the institute is new but then this institute is aiming high unlike other new B Schools they have a huge 10 Acre Campus in Mysore with Faculty from the best universtites in globe. They are calming good placements. I thinks this institute in coming times will make it to the l

Exactly Simran, Most B schools in India do not adapt a curriculum that teaches student current market scenarios which results in shut down of 100's of B schools in India every year. And Yes, the perspective of MBA has also changed a lot for students, now they don't want to do an MBA just for the sake of getting a job in India. With globalisation and world becoming a global village students aim higher they don't want to miss international opportunities and why should they when they get highly paid. I completely agree with you Rajan, there is no use going to United states if you have chance to get the international exposure with international placement in the most reasonable fee structure. Though the list of good B-schools in India is handful but there are a couple of new institutes which are really innovative and awesome with their approach. Institutes with faculty from top notch world universities like Kellog, Wharton, Harvard, MIT Sloan, Stanford, London School of Economics, & IIMs would really help students understand the global trends and market worldwide. These institutes also have tie up with universities like ASU, Boston U

Hi Rehaan, USA is every other guys dream nation to pursue a Masters but until and unless you make it to some really good university there like ASU, NYU etc. and you have ample of cash to pay the Fee which would sum around 25 to 30 lacs roughly without a security that after you complete your degree you will be placed at a good package in USA, you can opt for it if you still want to. If you were to take my advice friend i would not recommend you to go USA just for the sake of adding a degree from USA to your CV. I guess the best option would be to look for an institute in India which provides international placements and has a fee struct

Hi Rehaan , This is not really a good time to go United states to pursue your MBA as you know about there is crisis in USA. Another good reason is that when you have good options available in India there isn't any need to go to USA. I would really want to help you out if you throw some more lights what your doubts are?
