Need suggestion in career change from IT to hotel management
This is Vijai.i am from IT sector.I really dont know how i landed in IT sector. I am 32 yrs old with MCA. Hospitality n cooking is my passion.can i do some part time course n shift my career to hotel management? what do u suggest? is it worth taking the risk?

Yes. You can pursue a hospitality course and do a career switch to the Hospitality industry.

Hi Vijai, to guide you, hotels are amongst the most visible and important aspects of a country's infrastructure. Hotel industry is a closely linked one to the tourism industry. With increasing globalisation, career opportunities are increasing.
One can enter this field by direct entry or through hotel management institutes. Minimum qualification required to go for a course in hotel management is 10+2.
You should have a good organizational background, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong commitment and self-discipline.
