NFTE rule of RGPV. details

I am persuing BE in computer science from RGPV university (Bhopal) affiliated college. I want to know about the NFTE rule of RGPV. It was 8 years from admission but i heard somewhere that it has been reduced to 7 years, the university personnel don't answer any sort of query properly. please help.
