Hi, so basically so there's no such comparison between NIFT and NIFT as in what is better. NIFT and NID both are top design colleges in India, but the courses they offer are not the same. NIFT stands for National Institute Of Fashion Technology which clearly suggests that it's a fashion focused college. NID stands for National Institute of Design and it has a core design focused approach. Hence, you need to find out about the courses they offer and choose according to your interest.

Please do not waste your money, time, and energy in both these institutes. No matter whatever anyone says, both institutes are just place where faculties' ass is licked, if you are good at it then gi for it but also if you have tons of money to be spend on projects for which you wont be given marks unless you are their favourite. After four years of spending money in these institutes, dont expect to get a good campus placement as their placements cell and criteria is pathetic. They only show you one percent of the scenario of placement and not about the others who didnt get any job.
