For a candidate, who has not studied English as a subject, the condition of English may be waived off provided the candidate in his qualifying exam has studied in English medium. (5% relaxation to North East states and Sikkim candidates/ Defence Personnel and their Dependents/ Wards of Kashmir Migrants) (10% relaxation to outstanding Sports Persons (I. e. A/A+ category as per Sports Scholarship), Subject to verification from Selection committee* of the University) So, if you have 60% plus in 10+2 or you fall in any ralaxable category, you can take admission as NIOS is also a recognised board. You may proceed for the admission based on qualifying the below eligibility criteria:-Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with English, Physics, Chemistry and Maths) or equivalent. LPU provides a great academic exposure to its students. It provides a chance to the students to attend guest lectures or workshops, so that they get to learn as much as they can. The students also work on live projects, so that they are able to apply their knowledge to practical settings. It is one of the few that has embraced international practices when it comes to designing a curriculum. Also LPU offers scholarship based on various categories like academics, sports, co-curricular, defence personnel and many more. Admissions are going on, apply without any delay to grab a seat.

NIOS board stands for the National Institute of Open schooling and it is recognized board as other boards like CBSE, ICSE etc. Are recognized. Eligibility criteria: Applicant must have done 12th with the medical stream from a recognised university with at least 50% marks and 45% for reserved categories. Age limit should be in between 17-25 years whereas relaxation is provided to reserved categories in the upper age limit as per rules. You need to fill application form of admission which is filled in the month of June 2016. All the best.
