I would suggest you take VIT Vellore. I am myself in VIT's CSE with spec. in bioinformatics. The course stream is good with a lot of future opportunities and even the campus provides a lot of extra opportunities. You will also be taught by some of the best faculty members in the country. The only thing about VIT is its strict rules.

VIT, Vellore is the top private institute in India in terms of placements. If you have the right skills you can placed with at least 3 per annum package and even if you wish to go for higher education, you will get support from VIT.

According to me, VIT Vellore is a very good university not because of its environment but also because of its faculty members & the placements.
