The UK government has decided to do away with post-study work visa. This means, students studying in UK, will not be able to work there after completing their studies. Well, in my opinion UK is still one of the finest study destination to pursue studies, however with new VISA rules, it will surely lead to downfall in number of Indian students going to UK for studies, however all those students who want quality international education from good universities would

well in my opinion. India is the hottest pick in terms of education as of now so instead of spending in studying abroad in a tiny college it is always better to study in India. One must go abroad for studies only if certain course of choice is not offered in Indian colleges.

For a few subjects,the UK may be a good option for higher pursuits ,but there should however be a work-option also.Otherwise it is futile going there for a fancy qualification which may not mean much in India.It is just like going there for learning spoken English.

Following the closure of the facility, international students will be able to apply for leave to remain in the UK under other immigration routes if they meet the criteria, but most such students are unlikely to meet the higher income level and other criteria. This would create adverse effects.

A large quantum of Indian students go out to study abroad, looking for chances of migration. Of course their chances will be hurt by the change. But I think, it's good for India in general and will mitigate the brain drain from here.
