    Hi,
    Well there are plenty of things you can do after studying English Literature.
    Careers in publishing require people with backgrounds in English very often. You can go into the fields of journalism, and translation; script/novel/play writing if you have a creative flair and an interest in writing.
    Education teaching, primary and secondary school children as well as professorship are also options after doing a Bed. or MPhil.
    You can also get jobs with as reporters with newspaper firms and media companies.
