Now, I am pursuing B.Tech computer science, so can I join LPU for M.Tech or can I join another college without required GATE score?

You need to qualify LPU-NEST. The Eligibility Criteria (Qualifying Exam) for M.Tech CSE is Pass with 60% aggregate marks in BE or B.Tech (CSE or IT or ECE) or MCA or M.Sc (IT or Computer Science) or equivalent subject to qualifying LPU-NEST or GATE.

In case marks scored in B.Tech (CSE or ECE or IT) or MCA or M.Sc (IT or Computer Science) are 80% or above, then LPU-NEST or GATE will be exempted and a candidate may apply for admission. In LPU they are offering scholarships in bulk. As if you are doing your B.Tech then scores from B.Tech will be considered at the time of taking admission in Lpu. If you want to go for admission with your GATE scores then you can opt for other central Universities. Else you must go with private universities like Lpu.
