Now I am studying engineering 3rd year. After completing 4 years would I choose A.M.E. Course.

A.M.E. (Aircraft Maintenance Engineering) is a technical training course (3 years long) that will help you acquire an aircraft maintenance engineer license (issued by the DGCA). A.M.E. Professionals are tasked with the maintenance of an aircraft, its parts and engines. As the name suggests, A.M.E. Professionals have to deal with service and maintenance of aircraft and make sure that they are flight worthy. To become an A.M.E. Professional, one must possess a maintenance engineer license issued by the DGCA (Directorate General of Civil Aviation). To obtain this license, one must successfully go through the A.M.E. Training from a DGCA approved institute. A.M.E. Training course can be divided into two main streams as Mechanical and Avionics. Eligibility criteria : This is a technical course. Students who have passed 10+2 Science stream (with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects) with minimum 50% aggregate marks are eligible to pursue this course. Diploma holders (with minimum 50% aggregate marks) are also eligible to pursue it. So what is the need of doing this course after completing B.Tech. GATE CAT CMAT XAT UPSC and CDS etc. Are the best options for you.
