Now I'm a 3rd year Mechanical(B.Tech) student. I wanna do mba after my M.Tech.So what will be the proper time for coaching?
I also want to ask that is it beneficial for me to get higher posts if I both mtech and mba?

If you want to do M.Tech than first do it from a very good colleges like IITs for it you should start your preparation for GATE.
If you want to do MBA from IIMs than you should decide either MBA or m.tech. if you choose MBA than its right time to start CAT.

getting good percentile in cat is not a piece of cake. If you have good mathetics and good aptitude & creative thinking than one year is enough for the preparation. But do self assessment and also go through two three years question papers
