Ok apart from it can I get admission in b.e or b.tech in any of govt colleges of Assam with 55 score in CEE as I am a general caste student

    Yes, hopefully, you can get in most of the colleges.
    But I would request you to attend the counselling session as it gives you a greater chance of getting a seat.

    Yes, you can get admission in private colleges of Assam with this score. Yes, you will get your favourite branch also. So, participate in the counselling.
