On what basis are students selected for scholarships?

Hi there, I am an alumni of LPU. I have done BCA at LPU is a place where a person can learn many things. The main thing I have learned is management and discipline. LPU offers many scholarships on various parameters and one of them is based on your performance in LPU NEST. In some courses LPU NEST is mandatory but in others it is for scholarships. Scholarships are awarded to candidates based on their performance on any of the following categories: 1. Eligibility Qualification The scholarship will also be offered on the basis of Eligibility qualification. 2. Certain National Level Tests (like JEE Main paper NEET UCEED CAT MAT GATE GPAT etc. ) 3. LPU NEST which meansLPU National Entrance & Scholarship Test 4. Performance in Sports, Cultural, R&D, Co-curricular, Social Service and Bravery Awards 5. Special Scholarships and/or Fee Concessions for Ph.D. (scholarship on basis of qualifying exam will not be allowed. ) some special scholarships like Orphan students' scholarship, Defense personal dependent, disabled scholarships some relaxation to SC/ST and north-east students, etc. I hope this will help.

LPU offers many scholarships on various parameters and one of them is based on your performance in LPU NEST. In some courses LPU NEST is mandatory but in others it is for scholarships. Scholarships are awarded to candidates based on their performance on any of the following categories: 1. Eligibility Qualification The scholarship will also be offered on the basis of Eligibility qualification. 2. Certain National Level Tests (like JEE Main NEET UCEED CAT MAT GATE GPAT etc. ) 3. LPU NEST. (LPU National Entrance &amp; Scholarship Test) 4. Performance in Sports, Cultural, R&amp;D, Co-curricular, Social Service and Bravery Awards 5. Special Scholarships and/or Fee Concessions for Ph.D. Applicants (Scholarship phases as mentioned below are not applicable) Defense and Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) personnel and their dependents Toppers of Education Board Scholarship for Orphan Applicants Scholarship for Person with Certain Disability If you are able to meet the eligibility criteria for any of the above scholarship the it will be continued for every semester depending on the terms and conditions of that particular scholarship. Scholarships are awarded based on a variety of factors including academic achievement, community service, and significant extracurricular activities such as work, performing arts, and athletics. One reason it's so difficult is that most scholarship payments are sent directly to the school and are only allowed to be put toward tuition and fees. In most cases, the student doesn't get to keep any leftover money for personal use, though some colleges do issue refunds.
