The BIT Bangalore offers admission to the B.E. in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering course through three modes: KCET, Comed-K, and Management quota. The eligibility criteria for general merit candidates include passing two years of P.U.C. / 12th examinations with a minimum of 45% aggregate marks in Physics and Mathematics, along with Chemistry / Bio-Technology / Biology / Computer Science / Electronics as optional subjects. For SC/ST & OBC candidates, the eligibility criteria are also based on the qualifying examination marks.
