The Dr. MGR Educational and Research Institute offers admission to the B.Sc. in Nursing course based on the following criteria:
- Minimum age: 17 years as on or before 31st December of the year of admission
- Minimum educational requirement: 12 years of schooling from a recognised Board or University with Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) and English with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks (PCBE)
- Medical and physical fitness
- Interview with the required documents (mark list of qualifying exam, Course Completed and Transfer Certificate, Community Certificate, Physical Fitness Certificate)
