JNU offers admission to the M.A. in Political Science course based on a Bachelor's degree under the 10+2+3 pattern of education with at least 50% marks in Social Sciences and 55% marks for those with a Bachelor's degree in Science and Technology disciplines. Admission is also through an entrance examination, and candidates are expected to be familiar with the content of a standard B.A. course in Political Science.
