On what basis does the Nightingale Institute of Nursing offer admission to the B.Sc. in Nursing course?

<p>The Nightingale Institute of Nursing offers admission to the B.Sc. in Nursing course based on the following criteria:</p> <ol> <li>Candidate must have completed the age of 17 years, on or before 31st December of the year in which admission is sought.</li> <li>A candidate should have passed in the subject of physics, chemistry, biology (PCB) and English individually and must have obtained a minimum of 45% marks taken together in PCB at qualifying examination (10+2).</li> <li>Candidate also eligible from state open school recognised by state government and National Institute of Open school (NIOS) recognised by central Government having Science subjects and English only.</li> <li>English is a compulsory subject in 10+2.</li> <li>Candidate shall be medically fit. However, colour blind candidates should be considered for admission to Nursing courses subject to the condition that colour corrective contact lens and spectacles are worn by such candidates.</li> <li>Candidate shall be admitted once in a year.</li> <li>Admission is based on entrance exam and interview scheduled as per Institution policy.</li> <li>Candidate must meet the norms given by Indian Nursing Council/Ch. Charan Singh University/U.P. Nurses and Midwives Council.</li> </ol>
