    The Panjab University offers admission to the M.A. in Economics course based on the PU-CET (PG) Entrance Test, with a pass percentage of 35% (30% in case of SC/ST/BC/PwD). The candidate must have passed B.A. with Honours in Economics, or B.A. with Economics as an elective subject with 50% marks in aggregate, or any other degree awarded by a UGC recognised University/Institution that is equivalent to either of the above mentioned degrees of the Panjab University.
