    The R G Kar Medical College offers admission to the B.Sc. in Nursing course based on the candidate's performance in the entrance exam, as well as their merit in the 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English as compulsory subjects. The minimum percentage required is 45% for General category candidates and 40% for SC/ST/OBC candidates. Candidates must be at least 17 years old.
