- The candidate must have passed the Higher Secondary Examination (plus two course) conducted by West Bengal Council for Higher Secondary Education or an equivalent examination recognised as such by University of Calcutta.
- Mathematics/Business Mathematics/Statistics/Applied Mathematics is compulsory in Plus-II level.
