The Tezpur University offers admission to the B.Tech. in Food Engineering and Technology course on the basis of All India Rank (CRL) of JEE (Main) conducted by the NTA. Out of the total seats, 60% seats are reserved for permanent residents of Northeastern states to be filled up through the counselling conducted by the B.Tech. Screening and Selection Committee (BSSC) of the University and remaining 40% seats are open for filling up through the Central Counselling conducted by CSAB/JoSAA.
