    The VIT Chennai offers admission to the M.Sc. in Data Science course based on the performance in the qualifying examination (UG or its equivalent). The eligibility criteria include a undergraduate degree in Mathematics / Computer Science / Physics / Statistics or UG Degree in Engineering or Technology in CSE/IT/ECE/EEE/E&I with 60% marks (inclusive of all subjects) and having studied Mathematics as one of the subjects in +2 and degree level. There is no entrance examination for admission to this course.
