Applicants are selected based on the Amrita Engineering Entrance Exam AEEE 2023 Common rank list secured in Joint Entrance Examinations Mains 2023. However, 70 percent of the seats in each branch are reserved for students with Amrita Engineering Entrance Exam 2022 rank. 25 percent of seats are reserved for students with valid Joint Entrance Examination Mains 2022 scores. 3 percent of seats are reserved for students with valid Scholastic Assessment Test SAT scores. The selection for JEE is made on the basis of the candidate's performance in the JEE Main and JEE Advanced exams. JEE Main is the first level of the exam, which is conducted by the National Testing Agency NTA twice a year. The exam consists of two papers - Paper 1 (for B.E. /B.Tech. Programs) and Paper 2 (for B.Arch/B.Plan programs). The JEE Main exam score is used for admission to various NITs, IIITs, and other government-funded technical institutions.
